Rodin Woman (Crush at a Rodin Show)
A more beautiful woman I never did see
Than a woman with skin of ebony.
She had a regal willowy grace
And a beautiful line in the shape of her face.
She looked like the music of love set free
To follow the whims of its destiny.
Her air was so graceful and so refined
So playful and whimsical -- and yet so kind.
Her hair was a sheen of perfect essence
A perfect phrase in the song of her candescence.
Every part of her was as right
As a sunlit day or a moonlit night.
Every part of her was as bright
As a moment in time when everything's right.
In her beauty, the peace of darkest night
In her beauty, the warmth of sun so bright.
