Self Decay

A young harlot of twenty five
Her nails were stained with black
In the process she lost her innocence
Left to fend the cold on her own

Her bones ached and deformed
The sunshine she took comfort in
Slowly but surely leaving her blind
A little self decay never hurt anyone

Over and over I heard her cry
Wandering the streets at a late hour
Society cast her aside in a blink of an eye

And she hides behind her little friends
Narcissistic fiends and sullen faces
Sharing her pain of desecration
A redemption never known

That flower never given a chance to conceive
Defiling that body with unknown substance
Slept in a garden surrounded by the dead
Her temple consumed by the vacant

Over and over I heard her cry
Wandering the streets at a late hour
Society cast aside in a blink of an eye

Eyes were shining like the deepest pool
Her mouth left open frozen in time
Cold steel plunged into her skin
Deflowered on that cold floor

Tragedy was above her head
Left unmarked on a forgotten stone
There will never be another one like her
Her fate was cast aside in a blink of an eye

Lonely girl I know your on your own
Lonely girl I hope you smile again
Lonely girl I wish you well
