Confessions of a Sinner

I ask for your forgiveness because I have sinned
I am ashamed from the countless things I did
I have taken men’s lives,
Cheated, sold drug, and Lied
Ran away from your glory
Ran away from the pulpit
When I was a Prophet and I knew it
The devil had a hold of me and I needed to be freed
Well Son… I say to you, whoever commits sin is a slave to sin.
And a slave does not abide in the house forever, but a son abides forever
Therefore if the son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.
But this battle is raging strong on my soul
All this is weighting heavy on me
Preventing me from reaching my goals
I ask you to shine some light on me dark.
Son: Just delight yourself also in the lord,
and he shall give you the desire of  heart
Commit your way to the lord, trust also in him,
And he shall bring it to pass.
Okay I understand, But I also had a child at 18
Don’t get this wrong I love my son
But I wasn’t ready for this I had to grow up way to fast
Son: I forgave you for the Cocaine, I forgave you for lies,
And I forgave you for the other men lives..
This is why I sent my son to die.
And from here on out you should be kin to one another,
Tenderhearted, forgiving one another,
Because I God in Christ forgave you,
