Alice in Zombieland (Part 1)
There was once a girl
and a rabbit hole
Now there is a teenager
with a hurt soul
She wondered into the woods
searching for a nostalgic past
Found a worn down chasm
eroded by the spell time cast
She took another plunge
into a world once familiar
Although this time
all of the color had disappeared
Darkened skies and decaying trees
littered the once breath-taking landscape
The entrance sealed behind her
There would be no easy escape
A struggled moan behind
caught Alice's attention
She turned around
and quickly wished she hadn't
There was Tweetledum and Tweetledee
They were merely scraps of their bodies
Bone and diseased muscle all over
They were zombies
Alice screamed in terror
Her old friends were gone
All that were left were monsters
What had happened?
They advanced on her
She fell back; landing on the ground
She needed a weapon
There was nothing around
The twins dragged forward
Suddenly their heads shattered
When Alice turned her head
She saw the Mad Hatter
He was still alive
although a little less sane
He held pistol
Things had changed
His old top hat was done
Now he wore a black Cowboy's one
He rode an old Harley Davidson
He was armed with guns
"Hop on, we have a tea party to get to,"
He said in raspy voice
She jumped on behind him
and the engine made a noise
They raced down a winding road
To a table set with care
At the end was a surprise
One depressed,but living hare
The old friends gathered
and drank a warming drink
Tea spiked with brandy
Helping the company think
Safety was here
At least for a breath
Alice could adjust
Terror wouldn't come, just yet
and a rabbit hole
Now there is a teenager
