Silent Murder
She lies there
with a frown on her face
when nobody is looking a tear shed's from her face
when someone walks into the room she put's on the facade
she just isn’t feeling well she claims
She is depressed
cuts on her wrists and arms
she claims her cat scratched her
she lies with a smile
nobody can see her pain
its hard to see the pain behind the mask
she hides it so well
nobody knows the pain she has endured
she struggles emotionally for balance
but she is being suffocated in her own lies
nobody notices
but me
I can tell that the cuts where made intentionally
I don’t say anything
silence has taken over me
the next day I plan to confront her
and tell her there is someone she can talk to
to find out that she stabbed herself through the stomach
my silence was her murder
with a frown on her face
when nobody is looking a tear shed's from her face
when someone walks into the room she put's on the facade
she just isn’t feeling well she claims
She is depressed
cuts on her wrists and arms
she claims her cat scratched her
she lies with a smile
nobody can see her pain
its hard to see the pain behind the mask
she hides it so well
nobody knows the pain she has endured
she struggles emotionally for balance
but she is being suffocated in her own lies
nobody notices
but me
I can tell that the cuts where made intentionally
I don’t say anything
silence has taken over me
the next day I plan to confront her
and tell her there is someone she can talk to
to find out that she stabbed herself through the stomach
my silence was her murder
