A Memoir

A memoir of the sick a recollection of what's
broken so many words that are left unspoken I
aimed for the stars and soared to the moon now
I'm stuck on earth without you this is a memoir
of the sick its my recollection of what left me
so broken


This is were it began the start of something that was once so grand. It took a while but I
eventually got your smile. I had to walk the
extra mile but honestly it was worth the while
to see you're beautiful smile but eventually it
came down after a while and I wouldn't even
walk the extra mile to see your beautiful smile

Like I said our love really did take a while but
never did I tire it was like a fire that pushed
me to just go higher and show you my true
attire. I worked without getting tired even when
it felt like you wouldn't hire I still held on to
the fire knowing it would be worth sticking
around for a while to see your smile

Yet I recall that day not to long ago when you
walked in my heart and didn't wanna go now its
all in vain and Its worse than any pain I can't
seem to let it go I just don't wanna grow.
Remember when smiles lined our faces and love
polluted our senses? Now its all in vain and I
can't stand this pain
