can you tell me who I really am please?
I want to scream and sob
And tear away all that makes me me
But when I try I fall to the floor
And my blood grows thick with envy
The falseness of my sincerity
causes a pounding in my chest
It's so forceful
That sometimes I hope it's deadly
My charlatan tongue turns my saliva to arsenic
So all I can do is spit and gag
While the clock sings tick...tick...
And my rhetoric wears my snake hair thin
And tear away all that makes me me
But when I try I fall to the floor
And my blood grows thick with envy
The falseness of my sincerity
causes a pounding in my chest
It's so forceful
That sometimes I hope it's deadly
My charlatan tongue turns my saliva to arsenic
So all I can do is spit and gag
While the clock sings tick...tick...
And my rhetoric wears my snake hair thin
