No Tremors!

I wander far away a certain direction,
So that when I turn to walk back,
The sun beams upon me.

The sun beams make the darkness inside feel tepid.
I guess I've been freezing all my life.

Since I've became companions with the light,
I've forgotten how peaceful dark has been.
I'm Just too afraid to go back.

As dark as I acted, I cowered in the shade of dark.
The brighter things were my saviour.
It stood me back up on my feet when I was in the tremors.
And gave me another opportunity to smile.

So now I am too afraid to abuse it

In the pits of darkness, I cried many times.
And thought that flipping the light switch would help.
So  I  turned  around  and  reached.
I wander far away a certain direction,
So that when I turn to walk back,
Reached out for where the sun would have been.
And finally slept through the nights.

The beams may be gradually pulling me out.
Out of the abyss as it is now dim
Not bright enough yet to not see these shadows.
In the dark, it is too dark to see them.
I wish to never see them.
