That moment
That moment, that smile, I want it to last a while. If tears shall fall i'll catch them all, no matter how big, slow, or small. I want it all, though I don't know why. I just makes me want to cry. Tears of joy down my cheek, I don't care if I do weep. As long I as I can feel this still. In that moment, though against my will, I fell. Far below my pedistal I leave that life behind, just to see a day that your hand will then hold mine. It's time to move on from my past, it could not last, it's shackles hold no ground. Though many mistakes that I have made, regret shall not be found. In that moment your eyes caught the light, they shined so bright. It felt so right to me that night, My heart freed without a fight.
I was lost and frightened too, there is no right way to thank you.
Though the words escape my mind in that moment so true.
I can't say it right, so I say I love you.
I was lost and frightened too, there is no right way to thank you.
Though the words escape my mind in that moment so true.
I can't say it right, so I say I love you.
