Goodbye Friend

Our love has become fraternal,
Baby can't you see?
What we had in marriage,
now is just friendly.

I never meant to hurt you,
you are still my best friend.
However your not the lady,
I want for eternity to spend..

My heart has grown so fond,
of a girl I was knew.
She came out of nowhere,
and from there I finally knew.

Your not the woman for me,
although you might think so.
Our passion started dying,
many years ago.

Now I have a chance,
to plant a seed.
The third times the charm,
and she is all that I need.

So Baby can you give me,
just one final request.
Will you give me the freedom,
I so solemnly request?

Will you understand,
or be bitter till the end.
Will you make our lives Hell,
or will you be our friend?

I never meant to leave you,
in such heartache.
But she is my soulmate,
and it's a chance I have to take.
