Survivor (Original and Theatre Version)
Original
I am a survivor
I have survived my own emotions
I have survived my past
I am surviving the present
I will survive my future
I will see past my own deception
Even if no one else can
Fear will no longer be in my way
Determination fills my soul
Tragedies of the past
Are chains on my ankles
But I get stronger
And stronger
Every minute of the day
I have my past
I have my present
But the future is free
Until I'm strong enough to grasp it
Theatre
I am a survivor
I have survived my emotions
i have survived my past
I will survive what lays ahead
My past will not define me
Nor will it define my future
My destiny is clay in my hands
I am the artist of my own life
I sculpt the curves of my future
It will not end by my hand.
