love poem
cupid shot me in the eye
the game took me by surprise
so i know that loves a lie
i see the malice in you eyes
she came like a gift from above
when will i be loved
with lips of morphine, she left me druged
she brought the rain, the pain of being loved
you're so untrue
it's over due
you're nothin new
i'm over you
you're chokin on
each word you said to me
now i'm gone
no passion with out you next
to me relationships are based on trust
but i guess this one was based on lust

...is this honestly your best work, the finished article you are putting out for the world to see, something that you are proud to have written? If that's the case then please get real with your presentation so I can start taking you seriously. I think you might try sitting on a poem for a day or two after you write and then make any changes that occur to you, before you post it.
