I dreamt of Grandma
I dreamt about my Grandma
She walked right up to me
She walked around the room
All my family I could see
She came to say goodbye
To each of us and all
She walked to me again
But then she did fall
I picked my Grandma up
She felt so weak and frail
She gave me her smile
It would never fail
It would never fail
To melt my heart so soft
All the lovely memories
Never to be lost
I knew she was tired
Wanted to go to bed
In heaven there’s a pillow
So she can rest her head
She walked right up to me
She walked around the room
All my family I could see
She came to say goodbye
To each of us and all
She walked to me again
But then she did fall
I picked my Grandma up
She felt so weak and frail
She gave me her smile
It would never fail
It would never fail
To melt my heart so soft
All the lovely memories
Never to be lost
I knew she was tired
Wanted to go to bed
In heaven there’s a pillow
So she can rest her head
