Life Hurts (Supplemental)
The angry entails of a once happy
my life melts away in to nothing,
Like snow on a summer’s day.
My fractured soul,
an endless void of decoy,
Wraps around my neck
like a medal for all to see.
Familiar faces like shadows
have become my sworn enemies;
I do not fit in
how could I?
I’m a gallery of people and personas
rolled in to one.
I have no idea who I am?
Who am I?
Minutes, become hours
become,days
this life
seems to wear us down
It wears a clown’s face
and a “kick me sign “
Stuck to my back
held together with sticky tape and spit.
Always kicking me when I’m down.
A couple of cracked ribs
and collection of broken teeth
make me think again.
This life hurts me.
