and onto that eternal dreamless sleep
and those few moments before death
those lucid, few hypnagogic moments
after seeing the light
after life has passes before my eyes
I feel myself start to sink
into the goddesses belly
our mother goddess
the void
like my mother here on earth
but instead of coming out of darkness
from that euphoric, amneotic, ignorant bliss
I'm falling
back into darkness
like birth going backwards
and those last moments
are euphoria once again
and I am at peace
with myself and that shit I had to go through
to get here
that here and now
the last here and now
I sink
feet first
my head the last to be emptied
like birth going backwards
I take one last deep breath in
with awe
or relief
or both
and exhale
as everything
goes
