Image for the poem Oh Glorious Father.

Oh Glorious Father.

Will you shine your light upon me?
To cleanse my corrupted spirit once,
And the blood I've spilled.
Dagger in my hand, I pray to you.
As a stained angelic figure,
I must feel you.

Oh Glorious Father,
I hold this cross in my red stained hands.
I've murdered,
But the love that I carry for you,
Will forever remain strong.
I must hear you.

Oh Glorious Father,
Don't I know Christ?
I bow my head and shut my restless eyes.
So that the horror I've commited is unseen.
What have I done for a joyful feeling like this one?
I must see you.

Oh Glorious Father,
Show me that you know who I am.
And if Heaven will accept this...
