ars moriendi
shit man
what a waste
they say as he rots away
listless lifeless limp
redundant he lies still
on the coir mattress
or by the cobwebbed washbasin
ants crawling behind
darn'd chemicals
again
does not budge
ragged breaths
his lack of a gaze
wavers wanders
eyes that look
like hash coins
on fresh
ejaculate
thats what
he is
cum
junkie
an ugly fucker
stoned deluded denuded
abstraction
abomination
whom is he
kidding really
artist he calls
himself
as if
daydreaming/driftdying
is an art
or is it
fuck

Had to google title.. Great one. Oddly offended by this for personal reasons, really powerful in that way for me. The pace increases and rests on that end question seamlessly. Mixture of questions and emotions arise. You hate this person? Love them? Hate seeing this? Question at the end makes think the narrator questions his judgementalism, yet so many justified reasons for judging...quite enjoyed, in an angry self conscious way

EEEP! SO damn good to see you, man!
This was desolate and expressed (self?) loathing at the apathy and the decadence of it all. SO awesome. Haunting and a smooth read.
Good to see you weirdo, B

I am positively bursting, you're back at last! It's been quite dull without you around.
As for the poem:
It wasn't pretty. It wasn't sugared and icing-ed and without the cherry that rests atop such a piece.
It was dirty and deep and down and expressive; with such a force of disgust that I can only imagine the hate being in the field of self-loathing.
Vile, I know, yet somehow invigorating; loathing with a tight grin.
"eyes that look
like hash coins
on fresh
ejaculate"
Romance? Far from it; though the eyes are rarely described for anything but. Love this line; very daring.
I can smell the loathing in my clothes after reading this poem.
Magnificent; thank you.
