reflect

I search for a reflection I cannot find.
I long for the moment it will all untwine
Living a hindered, hiding the true self,
Grabbing a temporal answer off the shelf
Living to be what is accustomed of me and
Living to someone else’s purpose
Destroys the vastness of one.
Losing one is losing all.
Hate banished the love, we fell in such disgust.
We the humans have left our selves to rust,
Rust to dust as our mechanical aids propel us into a deeper fading
Civilization.
We have betrayed the very essence of creation
The brutality does not stop here, it perceviers
Into a spiraling halt, as it collapses the last pumping lung
Of a body just hung.
I search for a reflection I cannot find.
For I have left the world behind.
