 Hello to anyone who is listening 
For today is here 
As the morning arrived 
Sooner than expected 
With sleep in my eyes
3am was late 
Not if you're 21 
But a decade or two onward 
It's late

Morning, I think I am tired
The shower seems so far away
My belly aches with hunger 
How I wish you were here!

Dad are you here 
In this empty silence 
can you hear me, 
Can you even see me
It's morning dad, wake up!
