KNOW ME
The girl you see before you isn’t who you think you know.
You look at me and see waterfalls and rainbows; I look at me and see hurt and pain from the man that disowned me.
From the man that disowned me is the hatred for the one that birth me, taught me, cared for me and nurtured me.
No you don’t kno9w me, smile in my face all lovy dovy.
He thinks im suppose to cherish the man, never mind I cant even say a man, the boy he thinks raised me in his mind maybe.
But see im much older now, much wiser too, I give credit to your brother that did more than you.
You can sit there and get mad, think upon my words, but you know that I know that he’s more of a man then you.
That sunk in, hit you right in the core, cause if you know me, truly know me then you’ll know the man im talkin bout… is you.
