You left today, But I still see you
You left this world,
from body to essence,
now we wait till the essence turns
to a presence of a coincidence,
My mind is wandering and im asking myself
Why didn't I ever pay attention?....
I heard the sickness took over you
and still kept my distance
over the simple plastic words you threw at me,
I'd take it all back, but I guess its true
Angels don't belong among our existence....
You'll be that Fire keeping us warm
Part of the Earth we stand on that keep us climbing higher.
The Air for our lungs,
In the Water we'll swear we'll see your image floating
from body to essence,
now we wait till the essence turns
to a presence of a coincidence,
My mind is wandering and im asking myself
Why didn't I ever pay attention?....
I heard the sickness took over you
and still kept my distance
over the simple plastic words you threw at me,
I'd take it all back, but I guess its true
Angels don't belong among our existence....
You'll be that Fire keeping us warm
Part of the Earth we stand on that keep us climbing higher.
The Air for our lungs,
In the Water we'll swear we'll see your image floating
