In Other Words

Don�t skip the details, or spare me the truth,
Cut to the chase , even if it hurts.
Don�t make me wait, or lead me astray.
Time is not something I�ve got to waste.

Don�t be gentle, harder hits I can take.
Honesty is best, lies just bring heartache.
Lay it on me, just confess.
Tell me your reality, and spare me the fallacies.
Straight forward and honesty are just a part of my personality.

So come on and let me know.
No more facades, the truth must now be told.
Unlock the door, let it all out.
Unchain the locks, and break it down.

Put this guessing game to rest. End this charade,
The truth you can no longer evade.
Don�t hold back. Have no fear.
All I ever wanted was the truth; pure and sincere.
In other words don�t be such a coward my dear.
