Afternoon 1939
I was a lonely paratrooper.
Peacefully falling from the sky.
Once I hit ground,
I've already fallen asleep.
I woke up in the afternoon,
My company was nowhere in sight.
I removed my parachute,
And dusted my uniform off.
Began walking through the vast field.
Under the beauty of the red sky.
