Taken as Granted
I made the mistake to take you for granted.
I thought you would always be around.
You were the one person I never wanted
to be gone, to be nowhere to be found.
The village I lived in was so little,
everyone around me, I in the middle.
You wanted to make me your wife,
you made me the mother of your child.
But it's not just a fun game, that's life.
Suddenly we lost control, we failed.
You never tried to change me, you never tried.
Why would you change something that you love, you said.
Always around me, when I sat there and cried,
You were a wonderful and loving friend, till death.
Time went by so fast,
I couldn't really grasp,
what we had, what we made to be.
You made me feel so free.
And now it moves so slow,
I wait for you, my dear.
I wait, for you to show
yourself, forever here.
