I feel pain and
rain.
Crashing down
on me,
the lighting blinding
me and the
thunder
leaving me in a daze.
Tears come up, but yet
to afraid to come
down.
Feelings surface but
yet to afraid to
come out.
The pain planting
itself
in so deeply,
there's no way
of getting it
out.

i do sometimes appreciate the shorter reads and this is the reason why. I find a poem really effective when you can say a lot in so few a words. I hope that you feel better today at least from the day that you posted this. Thank you for the read.
