Lobotomy
A black hole grows in my head
Forming a lesion sure to leave me dead
In the lobotomy
They took the wrong part of me
Scraped around in a little corner of my brain
I swore to them I wasn't insane
Though they only claim they took the wrong part
But I believe it because the feelings are not as sharp
I see you
But I cannot perceive your lying truth
My thoughts feel numb
But I do not feel dumb
Because I see what you are
But I cannot see that far
I sleep on your tongue
And feel the lies roll off so young
Through your abuse
The bolts holding my mind together become loose
So they assume something is wrong with me
And preform an unorthodoxed lobotomy
It hurts
It's a growing darkness that continues to lurk
They cut out the only part that cared
Now I'm left strapped to this chair
Two eyes blind
Inner eye I'll never find
New lesions form
While the rest of my mind scorns
Forming a lesion sure to leave me dead
In the lobotomy
They took the wrong part of me
Scraped around in a little corner of my brain
I swore to them I wasn't insane
Though they only claim they took the wrong part
But I believe it because the feelings are not as sharp
I see you
But I cannot perceive your lying truth
My thoughts feel numb
But I do not feel dumb
Because I see what you are
But I cannot see that far
I sleep on your tongue
And feel the lies roll off so young
Through your abuse
The bolts holding my mind together become loose
So they assume something is wrong with me
And preform an unorthodoxed lobotomy
It hurts
It's a growing darkness that continues to lurk
They cut out the only part that cared
Now I'm left strapped to this chair
Two eyes blind
Inner eye I'll never find
New lesions form
While the rest of my mind scorns
