Cold as Ice
It wasnt the words you spoke
it was the silence that killed
it wasnt you turning your back
ist the emptiness that needs to be filled.
You left a man broken
lying on the streets in pain
with no where to go
people forgetting his name
feeling so worthless
people throwing pennies at his feet
feeling ashamed
hands too dirty to greet
Miss, you be shining
you've already been told
telling people what to do
as if nothing was gold
Your hearts so broken
mind isnt in the right place
got no respect for you
your just loosing face
We can rewind to a place,
where you used to be nice
nah forget it girl
you as cold as ice.
it was the silence that killed
it wasnt you turning your back
ist the emptiness that needs to be filled.
You left a man broken
lying on the streets in pain
with no where to go
people forgetting his name
feeling so worthless
people throwing pennies at his feet
feeling ashamed
hands too dirty to greet
Miss, you be shining
you've already been told
telling people what to do
as if nothing was gold
Your hearts so broken
mind isnt in the right place
got no respect for you
your just loosing face
We can rewind to a place,
where you used to be nice
nah forget it girl
you as cold as ice.
