A Mother's Love

You are a part of me, you are flesh of my flesh, blood of my blood, because of this bond we share, I will always treasure every second of time we can spare.

You are a driving force that makes me strong on my weakest days, it's because of you that I will face all of my daunting fears, overcome them, and push them away!

You are my inspiration when I have nothing left to give, you are the reason I get up every day even when I feel like I can't, you remind me how to live!

You are my heart, you are everything to me because of my love for you, I will be strong, you will never see me  break apart, even when my life is a mess you are my ultimate rescue!

You are my healer, one smile from you, a hug, or a kiss and I am better, back in control of my life, it's because of you that I choose to remain the boss and dealer!

Part of me, my strength, my inspiration, my heart, and my healer, it's because you do all these things for me that I will fight for you, with every last drop of my power!
I will keep you safe, hide you from the struggles of life, keep your heart pure, free from unneeded strife. I will do all that it takes to protect you from pain, show you my love is constant and will always maintain!

I will not let you see my pain, I will not let you feel any of this battle, I will hide this from you, in an effort to keep your innocence afloat and with a paddle.

You are my child, from the moment you took your first breath, let your sweet voice fill the room, looked into my eyes, I knew I would fight for you.

As long as my heart beats, and my breaths rise and rest, I will keep you safe, encased in my arms a strong loving embrace, I will always do my best.  

If that day comes and my time on earth is finished, just know that even from heaven, I will watch over you, because there is no stronger bond, then a mother's love for her son!
