Not His Fault

I have an amazing friend, a man who always stands out in my mind, A man who breathes reality and the real essence of time, This man is unlike any I have ever known, on the outside what he let's you see, is strength, determination, and his most powerful tool, honesty, it pours out to you from deep within his strong God given soul.

This man is pure of the heart, a single father at one time but now fighting day to day, struggling to bring two families together, a constant uphill battle to his worry and dismay.  He will defend this struggle with all his might, because he believes that this woman and her children are what complete him, make him whole and right.

This man is a fighter by nature, a hard worker, and filled with many strong emotions, to those watching his heart and need to help other's shines brightest in his daily notions, but let me assure you that one moment in the presence of this man, all things will be clear to you, and you will know just where you stand.

This man is lover, clearly devoted, if you have the honor to be greeted with his passion, his love, and desires become his ultimate obsession, and are seemingly forced upon you, duly noted.
You can't help but want to love him, share his dreams, because he has many, they flow through you swiftly like a fast moving, undisturbed, unstoppable stream.  

What he doesn't show is his sadness, a quiet fear of the unknown, he won't show you his tortured past, with a father whom he loved, a life moving too fast, and love was something never really made prominent and shown,  What you won't see is his quiet struggle, to move past all his bottled up emotions, leaving him bitter, angry, hurting and in need of silent devotions.

I know this man, he is my friend, given the inner strength and courage, I would tell him that I hate seeing the exhaustion, anger, pure aggravation written between the lines on his face,  I would tell him that he means the world to me, and the only way to heal his broken heart, he has to forgive all those that have wronged him, hurt him, crushed right from the start.  Most importantly I would tell him all his negative thoughts and feelings that he hides, pushes down inside and locks away in his internal vault, do not define him make him the man he is today and are certainly NOT HIS FAULT!!
