Life's journey has but many roads, many twists and turns
for each road you take leads you down a different path.
Regrets and what if's many of us have.
Wonders of yesterday and what might have been's
Only If.........
Is something we all think of.

The years fly by, and you never truly realize.
If only.....
History of life events shape us into the adults we have become.
Some married with families, some single and all alone.
Until one day someone breaks down your walls,
and a crack you will see... leading to your vulnerability.

Hurt, confused and usually all alone, hind site truly is 20-20.
The future and our happiness is what we make of it.
Taking the leap of faith, a chance on love,
its our choices our life path that makes us who we are,
our beliefs, our hopes and dreams.

So where do we truly go so wrong,
Where do we get off our path,
where and why do we let those in
who hurt us and rob us blind?
Who takes our hopes and dreams
 and turn them into misery.
It is us, our own evil doing
not thinking things through
 but reacting solely
on impulse at amazing speed.

Think with your head and not your heart
It really is very smart.
Family and friends relationships too -
Is sometimes the hardest thing to ever do.

What is our purpose,what is it all for in the end?
To be a good parent, mother, father,
sister, brother a good friend.
Husband, wife, lover in the end.

My goal is to make a difference in this life
make a change to help at the very least
one other person to know I made a difference.
All it takes is for one person to start and others will follow.

Just an idea, a thought to what might be.
But all the same still its just a thought
to make a change.
