I used to love
Everything that we had
When all excitement was high
And our doubts were low
All those happy moments
We would both share
But the past broke
To reveal a future
Only to look back
Then realize all the fake smiles
And the forced out laughs
We thought we would never end
But maybe this for the best
Maybe you can now be safe
I never wanted it all to end
But you saw the evil inside my eyes
You saw it start to come out
I tried to hide it
But it was already to late
Trying hard to end everything
I still held on
Nothing left to take
You fled away
Just like I thought you would
From the very beginning
From the start
I knew you were bad for my heart
But I still chose to  go on
Knowing how it would end
Thinking none the less
Maybe nothing would happen
But to see it all break down
I had nothing left
To be broken down
Until you healed
The deep wounds
Only for it to open back up
