Darkened fall

You looked into my eyes
While yelling all those harsh words
I see your yelling
But I'm not listening
Backing down
From what I know I won't win
Telling me how bad of a person I am
Even though I have heard it a hundred times
But I don't try to stop you
For nothing will stop
What anger you hold
Trying to unleash against me
You said you never would yell
You said you never would hurt
Lies filling my ears
I see now that nothing ever holds truth
Your hands in the air
Weapons at your side
While yelling being the only thing stopping you
I hide for the fear of you lashing out
No where to run
With no one to run to
I look up as you draw your knife
And strike me dead center to my bleeding heart
Falling back
Into darkness
Closing my eyes
Trying to hide out the pain
Only to realize I'm falling
Faster and farther
Down into a blackness
That seems to have no ending
As I open my eyes
I see a darkness engulfing me
The feeling of falling getting stronger
Only falling backwards
Into a nothingness
Yet fullness
And suddenly I realize
This is where it ends
