I see the people
surrounding me
and see a life ahead
of them
The girl with the sad look on her face
thinking she can never be great
but what she doesn't realize she
does everything in her oath
the best she can
deep inside she knows
she's doing something right
The guy with the curious look
thinking about his family and about
how he isn't appreciated for anything
yet he leaves out the small things
Great things await him
I could go on with more,
but you get the point
These people don't know how lucky they are
Lurking on on the outside
