The Night Mummy Died
My name is Laiila,
I was once ten
this is what happened
while i was in bed
He came through the window
Quite as can be
Mommy got up
Darkness all she could see
He came for her jewels
But she put up a fight
If only he hadn't hit her
With all of his might
I heard her scream "Help me
But i did care
This was for all the times
She was unfair
She got what she deserved
To die in an attic,
All alone filled with dread
And panic
My Mommy's now dead
I would have been free
If only the murderer
Had not come after me
I scream and i yelled
But god has no pity
For people like me
Who live in this city
I was once ten
this is what happened
while i was in bed
He came through the window
Quite as can be
Mommy got up
Darkness all she could see
He came for her jewels
But she put up a fight
If only he hadn't hit her
With all of his might
I heard her scream "Help me
But i did care
This was for all the times
She was unfair
She got what she deserved
To die in an attic,
All alone filled with dread
And panic
My Mommy's now dead
I would have been free
If only the murderer
Had not come after me
I scream and i yelled
But god has no pity
For people like me
Who live in this city
