It's What Hides Inside

It's what hides inside of us,
That fills us with despair,
It pulls us deeper within,
Making us fight for air.

It seeks the very thing,
That scares us all the most,
You see this thing is called fear,
And we're the perfect host.

We try to act invincible,
But it sees right through our lies,
With this thing inside us,
There's nowhere we can hide.

The only way to stop it,
Is to face your fears,
Then it will go away,
And we can finally think clear.
