To be a Mum

To watch from birth, your babies grow...
Takes a Mum for that to no...
To see them learn and run and play...
Digging deep holes in the clay...
Climbing trees and throwing mud...
In the bath, soak in the suds...
Crying, coz youve hurt yourself...
Mum hug, when flu strikes your health...
Ask Dad, can I have the car?...
No son, not a chance by far...
Mum, you'll let me, this I no...
Here son, heres the keys, now go...
Rugby time, Mum come and watch...
Woolies on, warm up a knotch...
Bike rides, Dad can we all go?...
Of course you can, take care you no!...
Dad and kids, away they go...
Like the breeze, away they flow...
Mum blows a kiss and waves goodbye...
Back home they come, we need a pie...
And a drink, come on now mum...
Weve been out and had some fun...
Now my babies are all grown...
I dont look back and have a moan...
My memories are all so clear...
I love my babies oh so dear...
To sit and think of where ive been...
To love my kids, is what ive seen...
