Remember
You are the ripped out page in my poem book
I try to forget but the edge of the page still remains
Most of you is gone, But I can't help but remember
Remember that time we swam in the lake
No, I don't have to remind you, because you know
The remembering isn't what I worry about
The throughts that pierce my mind, the ones that murder my heart
Do you care? Did you ever? Was it all a lie?
I dont' know which is the lesser of the evils
I don't want to forget, but it's too painful to remember
Pain, it's a funny thing. Emotional, Physical. Are they the same?
Sometimes the thing that hurts the most, makes it all better
You know what I mean, you know what will happen
We aren't estranged to it, it was always this way
Deeply, Softly, Darkly. My sweet reminder, the warm embrace
I am done, please leave me be, I want to be alone
Go! Just Go! You can't help me anymore!
But come back someday. If you ever love me again
I miss you, I love you... My own sweet revenge
