You cast shadows over me

                             White noise

Is all I hear when your lips move

                             Snow and static

In my eyes, in my heart

                             You forgot to secure yourself down when you

Tied me up

                             Waiting for my eyelids to drop

I drift into a deep sleep..

                             Why weren’t you backing me?

Where did we lose faith?

                             An infinitesimal moment ago

Things were placid

                             When you dropped the ball

I caught it in my teeth

Things would never change

                             If I could douse myself in gasoline

I would hold you in my arms while I burnt

                             Funny how things never seem to fade

I still hate you for the way that I love you

                             All it would take is a bullet

To perforate your absence
