Rapunzel
Hidden deep with in her tower
In every corner she did cower
Missing the world as it turned on
Wondering if she'll ever see another dawn
A regular Rapunzel without all the hair
Left with yet another blank stare
She runs from her fears
With her eyes full of tears
Waiting for her prince or at least someone one day
Then maybe she could get away
Her sobs echo against the walls
As her heart breaks from her dangerous falls
She remembers somethings before this stone tower
She had friends filled wth good memories, no need to cower
She smiled and laughed the days away
In a place she wished to stay
Even if some smirks were fake
She had the need each morning to wake
She took all she could find
Blades, pills, whatever could end it....she didn't mind
Soon she'd be sick at the sight of blood
She could no longer stand its flood
She couldn't take pills slipping her into dreamless darkness
It wasn't enough..it never made her fearless
In every corner she did cower
Missing the world as it turned on
Wondering if she'll ever see another dawn
A regular Rapunzel without all the hair
Left with yet another blank stare
She runs from her fears
With her eyes full of tears
Waiting for her prince or at least someone one day
Then maybe she could get away
Her sobs echo against the walls
As her heart breaks from her dangerous falls
She remembers somethings before this stone tower
She had friends filled wth good memories, no need to cower
She smiled and laughed the days away
In a place she wished to stay
Even if some smirks were fake
She had the need each morning to wake
