A thought, too common.
A thought, too common, occurs again.
That I should take away this pain,
For the darkness never seems to wane,
And look at my visage with disdain.
Perhaps I should struggle to keep sane,
Or follow the others and become so vain,
But it isn't in me to quit, so I refrain,
And persist with existence. I shall remain.
