Keep it I don't want it
I thought that I knew
What I meant to you,
But I guess that I was wrong.
I should have expected this
to turn out like it did,
But I didn't, I was stupid
and now I'm standing here
With my knife bloodied
And my heart wrapped in a bow
As a gift for you, my sacrifice
To show that I really do love you.
I guess it wasn't meant to be.
I'm surprised it lasted for that long,
so please, do me a favor.
Take my heart, and keep it
It isn't worth anything to me
because all it will do
is remind me of you.
What I meant to you,
But I guess that I was wrong.
I should have expected this
to turn out like it did,
But I didn't, I was stupid
and now I'm standing here
With my knife bloodied
And my heart wrapped in a bow
As a gift for you, my sacrifice
To show that I really do love you.
I guess it wasn't meant to be.
I'm surprised it lasted for that long,
so please, do me a favor.
Take my heart, and keep it
It isn't worth anything to me
because all it will do
is remind me of you.
