I'm sorry
That I feel no shame
In loving you,
Wanting to be near you,
To have the solace
Of your liquid touch
To reside within.
My insecurity
Is not
In the potential
Of a rejection
But rather
That I might
Run aground
At the shoal
And so transcend
The depth
Of you
That I might scrape
The bottom
Of your soul.

Thank you... As a fan of your work, I hear that with appreciation. I'm attempting to challenge my own ability to be honest, to invite with the awareness of my own dark side... Do not harm. Whom would I ever subject to me? When can I let go and allow others to take responsibility for their own choices? Why be so self-conscious? .... All that jazz.... So, thanks..,

Thanks for the compliment. Curious what work resonnated with you since I am so all over the board with the poems that I've written. Ravens, rainfall, kinkiness, love, loss, lonliness, etc.
