Me and you!
I'd hold your hand and squeeze it tight...
You taught me how to box and fight...
We laughed and joked, we sung our songs...
Mum would growl us, for our wrongs...
When we'd be late, home for tea...
Or spend too much time, at the sea...
We walked and talked and laughed and played...
I wish so much that you had stayed...
But God he wanted you back home...
My life went cold just like a gnome...
The songs we sung were now no more...
My heart, I felt it, as it tore...
Mum never ever loved again...
Alone shes been since way back then...
So much love we held for you...
When you passed, it left us blue...
The best husband Mum she had...
And as for me, I love my Dad...
Life will never be the same...
Until the day we meet again...
