Surviving Life
It rushes forwards,
Swallowing.
You can
stand fast and hold,
unswerving rock,
worn smooth
and worn through.
You can
bend with the reeds,
grounded here
but swayed there.
You can
tumble and spin,
a fallen leaf, lost,
swirled by the eddies.
I liquesce
and flow,
the river drinks me.
Swallowing.
You can
stand fast and hold,
unswerving rock,
worn smooth
and worn through.
You can
bend with the reeds,
grounded here
but swayed there.
You can
tumble and spin,
a fallen leaf, lost,
swirled by the eddies.
I liquesce
and flow,
the river drinks me.
