Shore Rapture
Wind strokes the neck, caressing
Swells surround, softly shushing
Water sighs, cools the feet.
Sand grains slither underneath,
Pulling me to the ocean deep.

The power of the ocean, I grew up by the shore. I spent a lot of alone time listening to the crash of the waves. Thanks for bringing me back there.

Thanks, LeColonel. When I miss the sea, it's an ache inside. I hope you find yourself by the shore again soon.

My heart honestly feels like its about to burst.
This is just too much...
I have to stop here.
Its the first day on land and you make me regret it already.

It will be there, as always, for the next time.
Nothing like the sea, nothing. If I managed to capture that elusive feeling here, then I'm glad.
Thanks, Joe.
