Let's Use It All Up

As soon as
we get finished consuming
and as much as we consume,
we want everyone to be
as rich as we are;
even though this will simply
drive the prices up
and then we will need
to make more
and send the message
of entitlement out
that you deserve more
and should get more
and consume more
and the entire planet
put into a tube
that you can squeeze out
on your toast
in the morning,
a squeeze of the Grand Canyon,
a dab of the Pacific shoreline,
a hint of the Great Lakes,
a smidge of the Amazon,
a dollop of the Trade Routes,
and a field of smatterings
from all across the world
and all middle manned by Global Sales, Inc.  
And once we have used it all up
we can go and get some more,
in our dreams.
