Image for the poem Dearest

Dearest

Call, my dearest, I dwell on your recurrence
So that I may fetch us the stygian lunar charm
And lay it before your brilliance
Beaming by the crystalline falls
With splashes of diamonds through a rough current
To which will avow its ill-lighted veils
Cast it to the water, dear, and let it glow
And shimmer the flowing gems over the sandbeds
If only I could garner them all
Underneath the most radiant starshine
Bordered by golden flames swaying soothingly
Will you then see your disparity?
For they illumine as the Sun does
But nevermore brightly than you

Dedicated to my beautiful, loving girlfriend.
