Truest words never spoken but known

If I could open a book with you cover to cover
Then I would never need any other reading material ever
Plains of the grass swaying like the hair of my love
Her scent, her voice perfect as soft as a dove
Two roses intertwined with one thorn and one heart
Red as blood that flows for you
I would choose you over the heavens of life
I already have the heavens of life with you
A consistent fire through the night sky, she is my star
As sure as the river flows so does my love
I rise with the sun, you rise with the moon
We rest our hands upon the dead
And forget any foolish words said
My whole existence yearns for just a second of your prescence
Valence is overwhelming for you
How do you explain to your heart that your mind is a picture of us?
If I could sleep for eternity and never see you
I would be the saddest man at peace
The least of my worries is this
Promise me you love me
I promise you, I love you
