A Visual of Viddax
A Visual of Viddax
Look upon his mask for you will not see a face,
Ony the Hidden and enigmatic
A facade erected
A bulwark against so called 'normal' reality
A laughing lord,
A scorning lord,
A laughable lord.
Whatever kingdom you create
He will not and cannot join,
As he is Lord of himself and barely that.
Behind such a re-sundered veil
What madness lies within?
Many questions form in that face
Yet very few answers are available.
For when so many judge by appearance
The visage makes all attempts vainglorious
And all inquisitive souls
Fall short and fall frustrated.
Bedecked and suited in words
The hollow mask like a hollow crown
Rings his true face
To make a new truth
And thus smile, grin and laugh at it all.
While ringing that are words of half-ness
Well fitting to such a half-one;
Half-real alter-ego
And half-here personality
Therein making two halves of a whole.
But should one half fall off,
Maybe sorrow lies behind,
Should the other half also disappear
Then no longer will you look upon the mask
But a face without need for a mask
Instead the Avatar’s Avatar.
Look upon his mask for you will not see a face,
Ony the Hidden and enigmatic
A facade erected
A bulwark against so called 'normal' reality
A laughing lord,
A scorning lord,
A laughable lord.
Whatever kingdom you create
He will not and cannot join,
As he is Lord of himself and barely that.
