What is it?
i know i'll find myself, alone and hopeless
tangled in a familiar mess with a familiar breath upon my shoulder
dig in deeper just to know i'm not alone tonight
it's so hard to pretend this is something it isn't when at times it feels so right
looking back it just never made sense but looking back i cant say i regret it
right now its a common thought but in the future i just hope i forget it
my downfall that's all it is but i appreciate the recognition

I would suggest making all i's capital I, and also line 2 of 2nd stanza would be better as right now-instead of right know
